Privacy Notice

This notice explains how KORATEC handles customer information for its website, restaurant loyalty offers, and text-message programs.

Sign up / Sign in creates or opens an account. Signup adds a universal Koratec drink package. Its ten-minute display pass works without restaurant association or setup. Physical stock and fulfillment must be confirmed separately; restaurant-specific offers keep their own location rules. Temporary phone-number access opens coupons without proving control of the number. Someone who knows it may view or use those coupons. Private preferences and administration remain separately protected.

The separate /join interest form creates no account or offer reservation. Marketing consent is optional and separate, and no automated text is sent. Read the Account Terms and Account Privacy Notice. For verified access, preference changes or privacy requests, contact our team.

Restaurant interest registrations — October 10, 2026

The /restaurants/interest form collects your restaurant name, city, state, contact name and email, and an optional phone number. We also store the submission time, accepted purpose statement and version, and technical request identifiers used to prevent duplicates and misuse. We use these details to review restaurant interest and respond about availability. This registration does not activate an account, enroll a restaurant, reserve service, guarantee nationwide availability, or subscribe you to marketing or automated follow-ups. Hosted Cloudflare D1 stores these records; the website review page is restricted to authorized KORATEC platform administrators. Our existing website and storage service providers process the data to operate this feature. There is no automatic deletion period for these interest records. You may request a correction or deletion, or ask a privacy question, by emailing Samantha@koratec.org. Some information may be retained when reasonably necessary for records, security, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.

What we collect

The /join form records pilot interest: your mobile number, accepted statement and version, time and source. It does not create an account, reserve an offer or authorize marketing texts. The separate /signup process creates or opens a customer account and records the number, food nickname, saved-session activity, accepted notices, welcome package, dated redemptions and any separately offered KORATEC messaging choice. These records are personal data. We retain messages you send us for support.

How we use information

We use this information to operate the customer offer program, send requested or consented text messages, provide private customer links, prevent misuse, improve the service, and respond to questions.

How information is shared

We may share relevant offer and redemption activity with the participating business whose program you joined. We use service providers that help us operate the website, data storage, and messaging. We do not sell personal information. Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes, and are excluded from other sharing categories. Service providers may process these records only to deliver the program on our behalf.

Text messages

Automated text delivery is not active. Registering interest, creating an account or receiving a welcome package does not authorize promotional texts. An unchecked optional checkbox offers recurring promotional SMS alerts from KORATEC, including member offers from participating businesses. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help when delivery is available; email Samantha@koratec.org now. Account access and purchases do not require marketing consent. Private Preferences requires verified access; temporary phone-only coupon access cannot change it. Contact our team for other communication requests. Requested secure-link texts are a separate transactional purpose.

Your choices

You may ask to update or delete your information, withdraw text-message consent, or ask a privacy question by emailing Samantha@koratec.org. Some information may be retained when reasonably necessary for records, security, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.

Temporary access and saved sessions

During this pilot, /signup can open a number's coupon account without verifying control of the number or sending a text. Anyone who knows the number may view or use its coupons. This temporary access cannot open private preferences or administration. Hosted Cloudflare D1 stores account records. Protected, revocable browser cookies last up to 180 days and renew on return. Secure access links, when available, work once for fifteen minutes; do not share them. Account-specific details are in the separate /signup/privacy notice.

Eligibility

Customer account signup is for adults 18 and older. KORATEC is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as the service evolves. The current version will always appear on this page with its effective date.
