Account Privacy Notice

Information recorded

We store your mobile number, a randomly assigned food nickname, account and session activity, accepted notice versions and exact disclosures, messaging choices, assigned coupons and dated redemptions. The phone number and this activity are personal data even though no phone digits appear on the dashboard. We do not request your name, email, gender, password or payment information in signup.

Purpose and access

We use these records to find your account, operate coupons, preserve consent and redemption evidence, honor your choices, provide support and prevent misuse. Administration uses separate protected access. Temporary phone-only customer access is limited to coupons and receipts and does not verify who entered the number.

Storage and sharing

This pilot uses hosted Cloudflare D1 for structured account records and hosted storage for shared media. Hosting and other service providers process information needed to operate the service. Restaurant staff can see the live offer and validity when you present a redemption pass. That display does not show your phone, nickname or account history. We do not sell personal information. Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in information are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent are excluded from other sharing categories; service providers may process them only to deliver this program on our behalf.

Messages

Optional promotional SMS alerts are sent by KORATEC and may include member offers from participating businesses. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Promotional sending remains disabled. Requested secure access messages are a separate purpose and are available only where indicated. Twilio processes the destination number and requested message for delivery. We keep delivery status, consent and opt-out evidence, and hashed short-lived access tokens; application logs do not include message bodies or access tokens. Reply STOP to stop texts or HELP for help. An account or reward grant alone does not authorize promotional texts. Contact Samantha@koratec.org for help or withdrawal.

Retention and your choices

We retain account, consent and redemption evidence only as needed to operate the program, honor choices, support disputes, protect the service or meet legal obligations. Saved browser sessions last up to 180 days and renew on return; secure login links work once for up to 15 minutes. Contact Samantha@koratec.org to request correction, deletion, withdrawal or information about retention. We may retain limited evidence needed for security, opt-outs or legal obligations.

Prospective versions

This is account notice version 2026-10-08.1. Prior accepted notices and choices remain historical evidence. The secure-access addition does not rewrite earlier acceptances or authorize new marketing. A change to a sender or disclosure may require a new notice or acceptance; existing consent is not blanket permission for unrelated messages.
